As a Financial Operations Associate you will be a key member of Blueground’s group Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team handling operations with regards to the Company’s clients and vendors globally.

What you will focus on:

  • Process clients’ refunds on adhoc basis or after check out
  • Reconcile clients’ balances
  • Invoices & Receipts’ issuance
  • Communication with clients and/or vendors
  • Review of expense invoices
  • Prepare payments (single and batches) for weekly and monthly cycles of the group
  • Assist in assessing current processes in terms of efficiency

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BSc or Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • Successful basic experience coming from a similar position within an accounting firm or in the house accounting department
  • Understanding of accounting principles and reporting practices
  • Basic experience in establishing controls
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (excel oriented)
  • Excellent organizational & communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Numbers driven individual with analytical acumen
  • Reliability and can-do personality that is excited about getting things done
