About the role:

BlueLabs seeks a highly accomplished and dynamic Managing Director to drive significant new revenue growth for our Commercial Practice. This key role is responsible for consistently identifying, pursuing, and closing transformative engagements with major corporations and Fortune 500 companies.

The Managing Director will be a primary engine for net-new revenue, proactively hunting for new logos and cultivating high-value relationships to accelerate the practice's expansion. The ideal candidate will leverage a deep professional network, proven sales track record, and business development acumen to achieve these goals.

Key responsibilities include shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy for the Commercial Practice and strengthening BlueLabs' standing with top-tier enterprise clients. In this position, you will be responsible for:

New Business Development & Revenue Generation

  • Proactively identify, target, and secure new client engagements with major corporations—with a clear expectation of landing new logos within the first three to six months.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, consistently advancing prospects through the sales cycle to close new deals.
  • Leverage your established executive network to open new doors and create meaningful entry points into Fortune 500 organizations.
  • Develop tailored pitches, proposals, and go-to-market strategies that align BlueLabs’ capabilities with client pain points and strategic priorities.
  • Own outcomes for the Commercial Practice—driving the team to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets.

Client Engagement & Delivery Excellence

  • Cultivate strong executive relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to new and existing clients.
  • Oversee a portfolio of engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable client impact that supports long-term expansion opportunities.
  • Advocate for client needs internally and contribute to BlueLabs’ broader market positioning and value proposition.

Technical Expertise & Communication

  • Clearly articulate BlueLabs’ technical offerings—analytics, modeling, experimentation, and more—to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Serve as final reviewer for all proposals, pitch decks, RFPs, and deliverables across the Commercial Practice.
  • Prepare weekly updates on pipeline activity, new business progress, and client relationship health for senior leadership.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of client engagements and confirm delivery excellence.
  • Contribute thought leadership, market insights, and external-facing content that elevates BlueLabs’ presence in the analytics and data science space.
  • Collaborate with departmental and organizational leadership to identify new market opportunities and convert strategic initiatives into actionable growth plans.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in sales and/or business development with demonstrated success landing and growing Fortune 500 accounts.
  • Demonstrated history of driving new business, building pipelines, and closing large, complex enterprise deals.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales quotas in a consultative services environment.
  • Familiarity with consumer analytics, influencer analytics, persuasion modeling, and experimental design is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build credibility and rapport with senior executives.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to craft creative solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to exceptional results.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
