What will I be doing? 

Blueprint Technologies is looking for an experienced Training Specialist to join our team. Individuals need to be dynamic and energetic presenters who are experienced in tailoring content to different learning styles, activities and personalities. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 
• Delivering group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas. 
• Utilizing vendor materials that meet instructional objectives. 
• Developing or recommending supplemental training materials. 
• Preparing or revising training approaches that include a variety of learning methods including individual or group instruction, demonstrations, practice activities, classroom games, and learner assessments in live or virtual environments. 
• Selecting or developing training aids including handbooks, demonstration models, visual aids, tutorials, and other reference materials. 
• Assisting with training department administrative functions as assigned. 
• Contributing to learner effectiveness strategy and implementation. 
• Contributing to instructor delivery effectiveness process. 
• Consistently demonstrating consultative approach within Blueprint and with Blueprint clients. 
• Other duties, as assigned. 

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of experience on the engagement, with Billing experience is a plus. 
  • 2+ years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified or related work experience.
  • Knowledge of training plans, curriculum, and aid design and development (strongly preferred).
  •  Experience with implementation and facilitation of training events and programs (strongly preferred). 
  •  Demonstrated teaching and facilitation skills.
  •  Ability to assess training needs and objectives.
  •  Solid interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Must be in good standing with company.

  • Communicates information to individuals or groups effectively delivering presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience.
  • Ability to lead and guide others towards developing new skills or knowledge that will enhance their work.    
  • Clearly and concisely conveys written information verbally or in writing to individuals or groups to ensure that they understand the information and the message.  
  • Listens and responds appropriately to others.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

 

Essential Functions: 

Availability: 

  • Must work a hybrid schedule, five in-office days per week in alignment with the organization’s work-from-home policy and onboarding training schedule needs.
  • Specific work shifts may be subject to change based on business needs; some weekends may be required.
  • Role may require work during weekends and holidays, including potential blackout dates when PTO is not approved.   

Physical Requirements: 

  • Comfort with working in a traditional office environment, which involves working indoors without exposure to outside elements.
  • Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods, engaging with content on a monitor.
  • Proficiency in using a mouse, laptop touchpad, and keyboard, with a minimum typing speed of 45 wpm. 

Communication and Collaboration: 

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interactions with co-workers, professionals, the public, customers, and clients. 
  • Role may require the ability to communicate in written form other languages as specified based on engagement requirements. 
  • Openness to receiving constructive feedback and maintaining courtesy in interactions.
  • Conducting presentations and/or public speaking. 

Independent Judgment and Time Management: 

  • Demonstrate the ability to make decisions using experience and knowledge, while also seeking assistance when needed and adhering to deadlines and engagement expectations.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: ($25.00 - $29.00). The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
