How will your role help us transform hope into reality?

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Associate Director, Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team, covering the Europe North region. This role will be responsible for providing HR support and guidance to our leaders and teams across Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Nordics, the UK, and Ireland. Additionally, 20% of the role will be dedicated to acting as a Talent Acquisition Partner, focusing on recruitment and talent strategy for the respective countries.  This role will require 10% travel. 

 

What will you do?

  • Strategic and operational HR leadership:
    • Act as trusted partner with regional and local leadership and teams to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives and enhance employee experience
    • Provide expert advice on complex HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Lead organizational change initiatives and drive high-impact employee engagement programs. Builds trusting and consultative relationships with supervisors, managers and directors as well as other key stakeholders in assigned region.
  • Talent Management:
    • Oversee talent management processes, including executive performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
    • Identify and address critical talent gaps and work with leaders to develop robust strategies for talent retention and growth.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Manage high-stakes employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
    • Conduct thorough investigations and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Talent Acquisition (20%):
    • Partner with senior hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
    • Source, screen, and interview candidates for senior roles, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
    • Utilize various recruitment channels and tools to attract top-tier talent.
  • HR Operations Oversight:
    • Partnership with INT HR Operations to ensure the efficient delivery and execution of HR services at an operational and strategic level.
    • Monitor HR metrics and analyze data to inform high-level decision-making and improve HR processes.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations across the region.
    • Mitigate HR-related risks through proactive management and adherence to company policies.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership in HR and beyond:
    • Work in partnership with HR Operations, Total Rewards, and others to ensure cohesive HR service delivery.
    • Collaborate with the global HR function and other cross-functional teams to align regional HR initiatives with global strategies.
    • Engage with global and INT HR function and beyond to share insights, drive consistency, and contribute to global HR projects and initiatives.

 

What minimum qualifications do we require?

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HRBP role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the Europe North region.
  • Proven experience and successful track record in talent acquisition and recruitment.
  • Experience working in a centralized HR operating model.
  • Experience working with works councils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • Strength in the following competencies: strategic thinking, problem solving, relationship building, adaptability and cultural awareness

 

What additional qualifications will make you a stronger candidate?

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM).
  • Experience in a multinational organization.
