How will your role help us transform hope into reality?
You will lead the execution of key marketing projects related to the launched product AYVAKYT (avapritinib) in systemic mastocytosis (SM). The ultimate goal of these efforts is to drive product demand and optimize patient outcomes via promotional education to key stakeholders involved in patient care. Your time will be dedicated to complex project execution and strategic marketing and will require strong collaboration with Blueprint Medicine International and Blueprint partners. You will report to the Country Manager and Commercial Lead Germany.
What will you do?
- Strategic and tactical marketing lead for Germany across various SM related initiatives, not just limited to brand focused projects.
- Leadership of the annual cross functional local brand plan (market access, medical affairs and marketing) in terms of process, content development, collaboration with country lead and international brand team.
- Lead timely execution of market development and promotional tactics related to the AYVAKYT growth in ISM and advanced systemic mastocytosis in Germany.
- Manage partner agency relationships, budgets and timelines to execute our brand strategy and respective tactics.
- Be a strong partner with international brand team to ensure alignment with brand strategy and strategic narrative.
- Offer key contributions to international strategic brand plans for AYVAKYT and pipeline assets including future launch preparation.
- Help set key performance indicators for strategy execution excellence and develop courses of action based on these metrics.
- Leadership of the German Marketing Team and the x-fct local product team
- Support design and delivery of brand associated primary market research to inform strategy and tactics.
- Lead the German congress taskforce team and oversight of all national congresses (namely DAK, DGHO etc.).
- Design and deliver the national Omnichannel strategy in line with our overall brand strategy
- Design and monitor KPI tracking and provide recommendations on future digital investment strategies.
- Lead Product Communication strategy in close cooperation with national and international Communications/ PR
What minimum qualifications do we require?
- BA/BS degree required. Advanced degree, MBA, or other equivalent experience a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including direct involvement in marketing, sales, or market development activities
- Experience in rare disease, hematology oncology, or allergy/immunology a plus
- Demonstrated track record of complex project management
- Demonstrated track record designing and executing cross functional multi-channel marketing and digital tactics
- Experienced use of CRM-Tools (like Veeva)
- Must be flexible to travel in Germany and Europe.
