
Associate Director, Sales Force Excellence
How will your role help us transform hope into reality?
The Field Force Excellence role will be a core member of the commercial training team, reporting to the Director, Commercial Training. You will also have dotted line reporting into the VP Sales East or West Division. In this role you will assist in designing and executing our commercial training plan and brand strategy with field team members. More specifically, the day to day will include up to 50% field time working with ABMs, communication between field team(s) and HQ, and strong connectivity to training and brand strategy and execution.
This role is remote and applicants may be located anywhere in the US.
What will you do?
- Partner with Division VPs of Sales to reinforce strategic messaging and execution priorities across the rare disease sales organization.
- Provide field-based coaching and feedback to ABMs to ensure proficiency in clinical messaging and confidence in customer interactions. This includes data analytics and business planning.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify gaps in messaging execution and implement targeted support strategies.
- Serve as a resource for best practices in clinical communication, ensuring consistency and compliance with approved messaging.
- Support alignment between headquarters and divisional priorities with field execution through regular engagement with sales leadership and ABMs.
- Collaborates with the training team to support and implement both new hire and ongoing training initiatives for field team members
- Ability to participate in field travel is expected and will be prioritized to support sales team engagement, coaching and business objectives. On average, 2x week is plausible.
- Minimum commitment before engaging in an internal job promotion would be 18 months.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
What minimum qualifications do we require?
- 5+ years of commercial pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience; preferably, 2+ years of commercial HQ or non-sales experience (i.e. commercial operations, training, marketing)

- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Deep understanding of clinical messaging and ability to translate complex information into actionable guidance for field teams.
- Proven ability to drive execution excellence and maintain alignment with strategic priorities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to set concrete timelines and drive execution.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to break down complex concepts
- Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs
- Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary hiring range for this position will be $180,000 -- $230,000.* Actual base salary offered for this position will be based on a number of job-related factors, including, but not limited to: experience (including skills and competencies), education, training and internal equity.
This position is also eligible for the following:
