
Agile Systems Engineer, TS/SCI with Poly
As the Agile Systems Engineer you will providing feedback and advice to government teams on Agile system engineering processes, practices, and activities using industry best practices. You will also utilize Agile tools and techniques to plan, organize, and manage project tasks and deliverables Facilitate and support Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
Responsibilities to include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively seek opportunities to use Agile methodologies to facilitate or re-engineer systems engineering processes
- Develop Agile governance, implementation guides and training materials to aid with enterprise-wide Agile adoption
- Support the identification, development, collection and reporting of Agile execution metrics and measurements to communicate adoption progress, bottlenecks, and areas of opportunity
- Develop briefings and training courses or materials for Solution and Program level teams
- Organize and support Release Planning events to set release goals, objectives, and roadmap
- Continuously monitor and improve Agile processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project documentation and reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement
- Mentor and guide team members on Agile best practices and techniques
- Facilitate positive team dynamics to help maximize team performance
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s STEM degree from an accredited institution and 9 years of experience, or 12+ years of equivalent work experience
- Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a CI polygraph.
- Experience using Agile project management tools, such as Jira
- Experience as a certified Scrum Master, certified Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, or Agile Coach
- Strong organizational, time-management, and verbal / written communication skills, able to convey information across multiple customer and corporate audiences
- Ability to facilitate larger sessions or events for release planning, etc.
- Knowledgeable of Agile frameworks and methodologies (preferably SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
- Prior NRO or NGA support experience a Plus!
