- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, retrospectives) to drive product iterations.
- Capture and manage operational needs, technical constraints, and security compliance requirements (e.g., NIST 800-53, CMMC 2.0).
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including DoD customers, cybersecurity SMEs, and AI/ML teams.
- Develop and maintain traceability matrices linking requirements to technical designs and test cases.
- Ensure the final SKY WATCH product meets user expectations, security standards, and performance benchmarks.
- Support proposal writing, white papers, and product marketing materials as needed to advance SKY WATCH adoption.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in product management, requirements engineering, or systems engineering for complex software systems.
- Expertise capturing and managing requirements for real-time, distributed systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Agile toolsets (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
- Experience producing formal product artifacts such as System Requirements Specifications (SRS), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, event-driven design, and real-time data processing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional technical teams (Software Engineering, AI/ML, Cybersecurity).
- Strong understanding of security and compliance in software systems (e.g., RMF, CMMC, NIST 800-53).
- Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly translate complex technical ideas into user-centric requirements and documentation.
- Skilled in creating visual models such as Process Flows, Sequence Diagrams, and simple System Context Diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting DoD, IC, or critical infrastructure security technology
- Familiarity with AI/ML product lifecycle management (e.g., integrating ML models into operational environments).
- Experience working with Kafka-based messaging systems and event-driven architectures.
- Exposure to BLE/RSSI technologies, video analytics systems, or audio transcription tools.
- Clearance (Secret or higher) or eligibility to obtain clearance is highly preferred.
