Empower Critical Systems and Data
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support the growth and enhancement of our Global Data Marketplace. In this role, you will work closely with product leads, engineers, and data providers to translate business needs into functional requirements and ensure that our platform evolves in alignment with user expectations and organizational goals.
You will gather and analyze data, define business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives. Your work will play a critical role in enabling informed decision-making, optimizing platform performance, and delivering seamless user experience for both data providers and consumers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with product leads, engineers, and data providers to gather, define, and document clear business and functional requirements.
- Foster a culture of trust and open communication across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and shared understanding throughout the product lifecycle.
- Take ownership of key analysis efforts, proactively identifying areas for improvement in marketplace operations, data workflows, and user experience.
- Act as a reliable thought partner to stakeholders by translating business challenges into actionable insights and data-backed recommendations.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing best practices in data analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead and contribute to team discussions, backlog grooming, user story development, and sprint planning sessions with accountability and empathy.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports that empower the broader team to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Support vendor and customer onboarding by aligning marketplace capabilities with user needs and operational priorities.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in SaaS, data platforms, or e-commerce environments.
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience using tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working within product development teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Experience with data marketplaces or e-commerce is a plus.
Required Education: 5+ years of business analyst, preferably in SaaS, data platforms, e-commerce environments or related experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for a security clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check. Eligibility for a TS/SCI Clearance will be assessed as part of the onboarding process or based on programmatic needs.

Salary Range (CO)
$115,000 - $140,000 USD

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
