Empower Critical Systems and Data
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Product Lead to spearhead the development of a next-generation transactional commerce platform designed to enable secure and seamless commerce. In this high-impact role, you will lead initiatives to optimize platform performance, elevate the user experience, and drive customer satisfaction. Operating at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and user needs, you will work cross-functionally to anticipate emerging customer demands and translate them into innovative product solutions. Your leadership will align product vision with technical execution, fostering a collaborative and agile team culture. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Insight & Foresight: Engage directly with customers to build trust, anticipate emerging needs, and close capability gaps through collaborative, user-centered solutions.
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership: Define and own the product roadmap, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment between platform capabilities, business goals, and cross-functional priorities.
  • Ecosystem & Partner Growth: Cultivate strong relationships with customers, guiding them through onboarding, aligning offerings to business priorities, and enabling a thriving, scalable ecosystem.
  • Platform Optimization & User Experience: Partner with UX and engineering teams to prioritize features that enhance usability, streamline processes, and deliver measurable customer impact.
  • Operational & Compliance Alignment: Collaborate with legal, engineering, and security stakeholders to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and foster open communication across functional boundaries.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Establish metrics, feedback loops, and reporting frameworks to generate actionable insights and mentor teams on using data to guide product evolution.
  • Agile Product Leadership: Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery while promoting team cohesion, psychological safety, and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Communicate clearly and consistently with internal and external stakeholders to build credibility, foster alignment, and maintain a shared product vision.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Marketplace Acumen: Proven experience building or scaling a digital commerce platform, ideally for direct-to-consumer or SaaS.
  • Commercial Commerce Expertise: Familiar with digital commerce models, licensing frameworks, transaction workflows, and vendor management best practices.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to anticipate future market needs and guide product evolution accordingly.
  • Technical Familiarity: Comfortable with APIs, metadata, secure delivery methods, and integration strategies.
  • Customer Orientation: Skilled in solving user pain points and enhancing satisfaction through innovative features.
  • Agile Expertise: Hands-on experience in Agile development, including story creation, backlog grooming, and sprint leadership.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a track record of metrics-based decision making.
  • Exceptional Communication: Able to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire cross-functional teams.

 
Required Experience and Education: 10+ years of experience and a masters degree are highly desirable.
 
Clearance Requirement: This positon requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for a security clearance, U.S. citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check. Eligibility for a TS/SCI Clearance will be assessed as part of the onboarding process or based on programmatic needs.
 
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Salary Range (CO)

$150,000 - $190,000 USD

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
