Summary:

This role will work with the Director, Learning & Belonging to create a globally consistent message in support of all learning programs. The Learning and Belonging Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and contextualizing Bluevine’s Global learning programs that enhance the skills, performance, and productivity of our employees. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences. In addition, this role will help support and champion Bluevine’s Belonging programs and contribute to our global culture of belonging. 

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will have the below responsibilities:

  1. New Hire Onboarding
    • Organize and update global new hire orientation content
    • Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure consistency in all new hire orientation content
    • Support other new hire global programming as needed
  2. Program and Curriculum Development:
    • Design and develop training programs that align with the company's strategic goals.
    • Create engaging training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and instructional guides.
    • Contextualize global learning content and programs to ensure global consistency but considerate of local needs and learning styles.
    • Maintain local LMS needs including but limited to creating custom programs, customized instructional design, report creation and automation, etc. 
    • Source and manage external training providers when necessary.
    • Maintain all learning reward programs
  3. Training Delivery:
    • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions across multiple geos. (India, Israel, US)
    • Ensure training sessions are interactive, engaging, and effective.
    • Use various training methodologies, including role-playing, simulations, and group exercises.
  4. Digital Learning Administration:
    • Audit digital learning content to ensure most relevant and valuable content is leveraged
    • Import external learning content into the LMS to fill skill gaps
    • Build, analyze, and deliver customized learning reporting for stakeholders
  5. Evaluation and Improvement:
    • Build upon current evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
    • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training content and delivery.
    • Track and report on training outcomes and ROI to senior management and Director of L&B.
  6. Training Needs Analysis:
    • Conduct regular training needs analysis in local office to identify gaps in employee skills and knowledge.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand specific training requirements.
  7. Compliance and Standards:
    • Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Champion for global compliance training programs to ensure adherence to all company compliance training standards and expectations. 
  8. Budget Management:
    • Manage the local L&B budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
    • Monitor and report on local L&B expenditures.
  9. Culture of Belonging
    • Foster a culture of continuous and inclusive learning and development within the team and the organization.
    • Support company belonging initiatives and act as an advocate for all employee resource group activities.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Learning and Development role
  • High level of proficiency in creating engaging learning content: digital learning modules, video creation/editing, additional support resources.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Baseline understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging principles, language and behaviors. 
  • Creative thinking and active problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-geographical and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in professional English skills.
