ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Commercial Lending Operations (CLO) Analyst is a key member of our growing operations team, playing a critical role in both core lending functions and cross-functional initiatives. This role supports high-impact projects across multiple departments, including Sales, Marketing, Risk, R&D, and Product.

As a CLO Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless loan processing and supporting deal closures, while also contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and drive revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of fintech lending, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Loan Operations & Deal Management:  Oversee loan applications from submission to funding, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely follow-ups. Track and update loan statuses to maintain deal visibility.
  • Cross-Departmental Projects: Drive high-impact initiatives across Sales, Risk, Marketing, R&D, and Product. This includes working on pricing campaigns, web-presence tagging, and debit spend campaigns. Support process improvements and automation efforts to streamline deal flow and funding.
  • Bluevine Lender Network (BLN) Data & Reporting: Maintain key lending data, monitor pipeline trends, and assist with reports on funding volume, approval rates, and lender performance.
  • Lender & Partner Coordination: Track decisions and ensure smooth communication to support the sales team with deal follow-ups. Provide updates to sales reps on lender responses and next steps.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • 1+ years of experience in operations, data entry, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using Excel/Google Sheets, Salesforce, or Metabase.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams, external partners, and leadership.
  • Passion for fintech, learning, and operational excellence.
