This is a hybrid role. At Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
● Underwrite Small business loan applications in accordance to company’s policy and procedures
● Analyze application data including financial statements, bank statements, tax returns and business and personal credit reports
● Evaluate Credit worthiness and structure loans within established guidelines and expectations
● Additional tasks and projects as assigned by manager
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
● Small Business Lending experience required, solid credit fundamentals in a commercial environment. Formal credit training a plus
● 2+ years of Underwriting experience working in a Commercial underwriting role at a FinTech/bank/financial institution
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field preferred
● Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
● Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
