This is a hybrid role. At Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.

About the Role:

Join the Android team as a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to help build and maintain the Bluevine mobile application. This role is for a highly skilled individual passionate about developing top-tier mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build cutting-edge mobile applications, utilizing a diverse set of languages and tools.
• Spearhead the creation of scalable, repeatable, and automated processes for application build, testing, and deployment.
• Manage and execute projects across the full software development lifecycle.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, accuracy, and optimal functionality.
• Stay current with industry trends and recommend innovative technological improvements.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and Coroutines.
• Solid understanding of Jetpack Compose.
• Proven expertise in designing and developing components that are scalable, reusable, and easily testable.
• Experience in integrating applications with server-side RESTful APIs.
• Exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of ownership, a commitment to high-quality work, and the ability to consistently meet project deadlines.
• A capacity for rapid learning of new technologies and adaptability in a dynamic development environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

• Experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile applications.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks specifically for Android.
• Previous experience in the fintech or banking industry.
