This is a hybrid role. At Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.

About the Role:

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the Bluevine mobile application within the dedicated iOS team. This role involves building and maintaining high-quality features that enhance our user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and deliver high-quality iOS features end-to-end, from initial design and implementation through testing and release.
• Utilize modern Apple frameworks, primarily SwiftUI, for feature development.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend, and QA) to build robust and scalable solutions.
• Drive the implementation and evolution of modern app architecture and uphold best practices.
• Ensure the overall quality, performance, stability, and security of the codebase.
• Actively participate in code reviews, contribute to technical decision-making, and mentor peers.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of dedicated experience in iOS development.
• Strong practical experience with SwiftUI and current iOS frameworks.
• Proficiency in utilizing Swift Concurrency (async/await) and Combine for advanced asynchronous programming.
• Demonstrated ability to take full, end-to-end ownership of features.
• Proven system-level thinking and the capacity to make sound technical decisions.
• Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
• A strong commitment to producing stable, high-quality code and a passion for continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

• Familiarity with established architectural patterns like MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Prior experience with iOS automated testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, XCUITest).
• Experience within the fintech or banking industry.
