This is a hybrid role. At Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.

About the Role:

As a Business Operations Analyst at Bluevine, you will support the development and maintenance of business intelligence reporting and contribute to analyses that help teams improve operational performance. You will work with SQL, Tableau, Python, and a variety of analytical tools to deliver accurate reporting, investigate data questions, and surface insights that support decision-making across Bluevine’s lines of business. You will receive clear direction on priorities and new assignments while building business context, technical proficiency, and analytical judgment.

What You will Do:
● Support recurring and ad hoc analyses that answer business questions, monitor performance, and identify operational trends
● Use SQL, Python, AI-assisted workflows, and other tools to gather, validate, and analyze data under guidance from more experienced team members
● Build and maintain dashboards and business intelligence reporting, using Tableau for visualization and SQL for data gathering
● Translate data into clear summaries, dashboards, and visual stories for technical and non- technical audiences
● Monitor reporting accuracy and investigate discrepancies, partnering with Business Intelligence and Data Ops teams to resolve issues
● Document reporting logic, definitions, and workflows to improve consistency and team visibility
● Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to support business needs and contribute to cross-functional initiatives
● Learn Bluevine’s business, products, and operational processes to strengthen analysis and recommendations over time

What We Look For:
● Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent relevant experience
● Foundational knowledge with SQL, Python, and Tableau or other business intelligence or data visualization tools
● Strong affinity for working with data and interest in building comfort analyzing large data sets
● Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for coding, data analysis, and workflow improvement
● Ability to follow established analytical practices, validate results, and ask thoughtful questions when data or logic is unclear
● Clear verbal and written communication skills across email, slides, dashboards, and documentation
● Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through on assigned work
● Ability to manage defined tasks and priorities with guidance, including in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
● Interest in financial services, small business, operations, and data-driven decision-making
