WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Month-end close support:
- Assist with DDA-related close work, including preparing support schedules, tie-outs, and flux explanations as assigned.
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules related to deposit accounts and other assigned areas.
- Prepare corporate allocation schedules
- Identify, investigate, and resolve reconciling items; escalate timely when issues indicate upstream process gaps.
Administrative accounting support:
- Scan and route inbound mail to appropriate stakeholders; maintain a controlled intake process to ensure timely handling of notices, checks, and time-sensitive documents.
- Tax and external correspondence.
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting requests and operational projects (process improvements, documentation, control support).
- Controls, accuracy, and process improvement.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, documentation standards, and deadlines; proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, or recurring issues and propose improvements.
- Support audits and internal requests by providing clear workpapers and explanations.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to month-end close and reconciliations.
- Strong Excel skills (pivots, lookups; comfortable working with large datasets).
- Experience using an ERP/accounting system (NetSuite preferred).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High judgment and ownership mindset; able to independently drive items to closure.
- Clear, professional communicator (written and verbal), including with external counterparties.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
New Hire Base Salary Range: $82,100 - $98,600
This role is also eligible to earn annual performance-based incentive compensation in the form of a cash bonus.
