Job Description:
Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Controls Analyst to join our team. This role will be critical in providing cost analysis, forecasting, and reporting support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Program/Project Managers to ensure the successful planning, execution, and close-out of Government contracts. The Project Controls Analyst will also play a key role in supporting Unanet ERP/CRM implementation and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cost and ad hoc analyses and reports to BWT’s CFO and Program/Project Managers to enable successful decision-making during the planning, execution, and close-out of Government contracts.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of Estimates at Completion (EAC), Estimates to Complete (ETC), forecasting, and baseline development using MS Excel.
- Track progress, actuals, and changes; manage change control processes; and conduct forecasting using standard project controls techniques.
- Generate project controls status reports and deliver updates to the CFO.
- Support the CFO with planning, reporting, and auditing requirements.
- Assist in the proper implementation of Unanet ERP and CRM functionality.
- Provide post go-live system administration support for Unanet ERP/CRM to BWT leadership.
- Support the management of project charge codes, timekeeping maintenance, and associated reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in project controls, program finance, estimating/pricing, or program/project management, with tasks such as:
- Managing labor resources and hours.
- Developing program budgets and forecasts.
- Developing risk management and change control processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active CPA Certification.
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems such as Unanet, particularly in an implementation or system administration capacity.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience developing advanced spreadsheets for financial and project controls.
Eligibility:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.
Compensation:
Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The proposed salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000.
