Job Description
Blue Water Thinking is seeking Senior Program Analysts to support an upcoming program within the VA. Senior Program Analysts will provide project management and coordination support for technology implementation workstreams, working closely with VA project managers and business owners to plan, prioritize, and coordinate activities that enable implementation readiness. This role supports alignment across multiple workstreams and ensures that implementation activities are efficiently executed in coordination with program leadership and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support planning, prioritization, and coordination of technology implementation activities
- Coordinate across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment of tasks, timelines, and dependencies
- Work closely with VA project managers and business owners to support implementation readiness efforts
- Assist in identifying efficient approaches to complete implementation activities and milestones
- Support development and maintenance of integrated schedules and tracking of implementation progress
- Facilitate coordination between technical teams, business stakeholders, and program leadership
- Track risks, issues, and dependencies, and support mitigation planning
- Support Agile activities, including Program Increment (PI) planning and backlog refinement
- Assist in preparing reports, briefings, and implementation status updates
- Ensure consistent communication and coordination across stakeholders involved in implementation efforts
- Support continuous improvement of implementation processes and workflows
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination or program support
- At least 3 years supporting federal healthcare programs
- Experience supporting large-scale system implementation efforts
- Experience working in Agile project environments
- Experience coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting VA or VHA programs
- Master’s degree or PMP certification
- Agile/Scrum certification (SAFe, CSM)
- Experience supporting enterprise-level healthcare IT programs
Eligibility:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role
Compensation:
Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000
