Job Summary

BluShark Digital, is seeking a part-time Office Assistant to support our Washington D.C based office. This position would work directly with management and will assist with a variety of different functions essential to the operations and office structure of the company. The Office Assistant plays an integral role in ensuring that the daily operations of the office are running smoothly. This position will be on-site Wednesdays, and additional days as needed. 

Responsibilities and Duties

    • Provide support with daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.

    • Collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.

    • Process and deliver bank deposits, ensuring accuracy in account allocation.

    • Manage employee technology inventory, including shipping, device wiping, serial number tracking, and organized storage.

    • Maintain and organize physical and digital documents for easy accessibility.

    • Order and maintain office supplies, including food, beverages, and stationery, while monitoring stock levels.

    • Assist in planning and coordinating company events, including catering orders and guest list management.

    • Arrange and coordinate office lunch orders and pickups.

    • Keep the office environment clean, organized, and welcoming for staff and visitors.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1+ years of office/administrative experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Must be customer service oriented
