Purchasing Clerk

Position Overview
Purchase all materials, services, and supplies for the company. Assist with creation and reconciliation of Purchase Orders, Credit Card activity, Dispatch Board, Truck/Warehouse Inventory and AP/PO discrepancies.
Essential Job Functions
- Create and update Purchase Orders
- Provide PO numbers
- Receive calls from field technicians for PO numbers
- Receive emails from Project Managers for PO numbers
- Update all Purchase Orders with order information from packing slips provided by the field technicians and Project Managers
- Provide PO numbers
- Create and maintain credit card Purchase Orders
- Provide credit card information to suppliers that we do not have an account with
- Daily follow up to confirm that all credit card purchase receipts for the day are turned in and processed
- Reconcile warranty purchases and purchase returns
- Follow up on warranty returns
- Maintain item numbers
- Create, Edit, and Inactivate items when necessary
- Work with Accounts Payable Department on all PO invoicing issues
- Maintain Truck assignments in Build Ops
- Transferring truck inventory when necessary
- Assist with Physical Inventory of trucks and warehouses.
- Work the dispatch board resolving any issues that need Purchasing review
- Additional office duties and projects as needed
