Warranty Specialist

Position Overview
The Warranty Specialist is responsible for processing, following up with the manufacturer on those claims, and communicating with the service department on the status and resolution of those claims. This individual is also responsible for assisting/backing up quoting service work and sourcing and procuring parts, generated by a technician’s QR (quote request) from a service call or a preventative maintenance inspection.
Essential Job Functions
- Process, log, and track warranty claims from customers.
- Track and follow up with the manufacturer if failed parts need to be returned to the factory for inspection or if they can be field disposed of.
- Communicate with the service department as needed when claims are resolved.
- Source and procure pricing for parts needed for quotes.
- Price up and write quotes. Send it to customers.
- Process approved quotes and order parts.
- Communicating with service dispatchers when a quote is approved and the expected ETA on parts.
- Follow up with customers on unapproved quotes.
- Follow up with parts distributors on the expected ETA of parts.
- Communicating with management as needed.
- Additional office duties and projects as needed.
- Assist with incoming calls.
