Job Summary

The Director of Capital Markets will be a key member of the Finance leadership team, responsible for developing and executing capital markets strategies to support BMG Money’s growth. This individual will lead investor relations efforts, manage financing processes, and create high-impact investor-facing materials. The ideal candidate has a strong background in investment banking, with deep experience in structuring debt and equity transactions and building compelling presentations for institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead capital markets activities, including debt financing, private credit facilities, forward flows, and structured investor partnerships.
• Manage relationships with institutional investors, lenders, and funding partners—maintaining transparency, trust, and regular communication.
• Drive capital-raising strategies that align with BMG Money’s lending products, credit risk profile, and growth goals.
• Own the creation and refinement of investor pitch decks, capital raise presentations, and financial modeling.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Risk, Finance, Legal, Product) to support transaction execution and investor due diligence.
• Manage ongoing communications and reporting with current and prospective investors.
• Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and capital structure options to support executive decision-making.
• Support the CFO with Board updates and strategic financial initiatives.
• Partner with external advisors (investment banks, consultants, attorneys) to execute transactions efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 6–10 years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, or investment banking—ideally with direct experience in consumer credit or fintech.
• Track record of successfully leading or supporting debt transactions, investor communications, and pitch deck development.
• Strong understanding of structured credit, unsecured consumer lending, and financial covenants.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft investor narratives.
• Experience working in or with fintech, specialty finance, or alternative lending sectors is highly desirable.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities.
