Partner Relations Manager

Job Summary:
As a Partner Relations Manager at Boku, you will be responsible for managing the relations with payment providers, schemes, wallets, aggregators and mobile carriers in APAC region. You will become the first point of contact for all day-to-day, operational, financial, compliance etc matters. You will work closely with both internal teams and external partners ensuring smooth issuer onboarding and performance, rapid issue resolution, steady network growth.
Responsibilities:
- Partner Relationship Management - Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing portfolio of partners. Understand client needs and act as the main point of contact for all day-to-day matters. Monitor and follow up on pending issues and recommend appropriate actions.
- Network Monitoring and Performance Optimization - Monitor specific KPIs related to the payment method connections and merchants’ activity, analyse and identify opportunities for improvement and expansion. This activity involves coordinated effort with multiple departments such as Business Intelligence, Connectivity Operations etc. Participate in optimization program of issuer connections (customer success).
- Supporting Business Development in Network Growth - Actively contribute to pre-sale effort, working cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Fraud and Finance departments. Collaborate with partners and internal team to launch new connections and new merchants on the existing connections in the region.
- Preparing and Conducting Periodical Business Reviews - Prepare compelling presentations and conduct business review sessions in collaboration with Business Development.
- Contributing to Process Improvement - Identify and help implement process improvements across the payment issuer lifecycle.
Please note that occasional business travel may be required to support company initiatives and attend meetings or events as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Equivalent experience (5+ years), ideally in payments/fintech/e-commerce/banking or relevant B2B background, with proven ability to conduct business reviews and upsell.
- Relevant experience supporting technical partnerships and/or integrations
- Business proficiency in English, Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Indonesia. Basic knowledge of Mandarin and/or Cantonese Chinese is a plus but not a requirement.
