
Head of Recruiting Operations
About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic problem-solver to lead our Recruiting Operations—a player-coach who can fix bottlenecks and build scalable systems. You’ll be the backbone of the recruiting team: making sure client mandates are kept on track, diagnosing inefficiencies, designing better workflows, and embedding tools, and KPIs to optimize performance.
This role is about turning high-volume hiring demand into consistent output—while staying hands-on with candidates to ensure high quality of candidates presented to our clients.
What You'll Do
- Be the problem-solver for the recruiting team: Identify bottlenecks, friction points, and process gaps across the recruiting funnel—and eliminate them quickly.
- Strategize and streamline recruiting operations: Redesign workflows, standardize handoffs, and build scalable systems to support rapid growth.
- Drive KPI discipline and operational excellence: Define clear KPIs (time-to-fill, submission-to-interview ratio, quality-of-hire), track SLAs, and coach the team to consistently hit targets.
- Build visibility through data: use various reporting and KPI’s to inform where you can optimize our processes
- Leverage technology and automation: Optimize the ATS/CRM stack, maintain clean data, and build automation/AI workflows (outreach drafts, screening summaries, status updates) that save hours, not minutes.
- Act as Player-Coach: Support the Recruiting team to meet their objectives and timelines. conduct interviews, review candidate profiles, and cross-check fit before submission to clients.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8+ years in high-volume recruiting or recruiting operations, including experience leading a team.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills: process mapping, sprint/capacity planning, risk management.
- Highly data-driven: using reporting from ATS, excel and Power BI tools.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with ATS/CRM (Greenhouse, Lever, Bullhorn, Salesforce), Lean/Six Sigma process improvement, and SOC2/data governance basics.
