
Offshore Project Manager - Construction
Job Overview
Our client is a growing leader in custom pool design and construction, delivering exceptional projects from concept to completion. They are seeking a highly organized Offshore Remote Project Manager to oversee projects from contract signing through completion.
As the Project Manager, you will ensure that projects run smoothly, stay within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality. You will serve as the primary point of contact for U.S. clients, coordinate with the General Manager, Construction Manager, and field teams, and mentor junior project managers while helping improve systems and processes as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for U.S. clients, providing timely, professional, and transparent updates.
- Manage projects end-to-end, including permitting, scheduling, inspections, and closeout, ensuring compliance with U.S. construction standards (IBC, IRC, NEC, ADA, and local permitting requirements).
- Set clear expectations with clients regarding timelines, payment milestones, and project stages.
- Maintain accurate communication logs and documentation using JobTread or other approved project management tools.
- Coordinate closely with the General Manager and Construction Manager to schedule fieldwork and subcontractors.
- Ensure efficient coordination of all trades to prevent downtime and delays.
- Track project milestones, inspections, and progress photos for accurate reporting.
- Identify and resolve on-site challenges quickly through proactive, solutions-oriented communication.
- Spot workflow gaps and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and communication.
- Assist in documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and streamlining workflows between sales, permitting, operations, and construction teams.
- Provide guidance to junior project managers through coaching and feedback.
- Partner with leadership to develop training programs for new project managers.
- Model professionalism, accountability, and strong customer service in all interactions
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of project management experience in construction or home improvement.
- Proven experience managing at least one U.S.-based construction or home improvement client.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. construction standards (IBC, IRC, NEC, ADA) and local permitting processes.
- Proficiency in construction project management tools, preferably JobTread.
- Experience in pool construction or outdoor living projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with documenting and refining SOPs.
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work remote & full-time aligned with U.S. time zones.
