Head of Brand
Full-time • Remote
At Boldin, we believe that financial power belongs in the hands of individuals — not institutions. For too long, money has been controlled by systems that profit from complexity, fear, and dependence. We’re here to change that. We exist to democratize financial confidence, to give millions of people the clarity, tools, and courage to take control of their money and their time, and to live more meaningful lives.
You will be joining Boldin at an exciting time. We have raised $20+M from top investors, are seeing tremendous growth, and we’re very optimistic about the future.
About This Role
This is not a traditional brand role.
We are not looking for someone to “manage a brand.” We are looking for someone to build a movement.
The Head of Brand is responsible for making Boldin synonymous with a powerful idea:
Everyone deserves a financial plan — and the confidence that comes with it.
You will define how Boldin shows up in the world — what we say, how we say it, and how it spreads. You will lead the systems that turn ideas into cultural momentum across video, social, PR, classes, and content.
This role owns both brand narrative and brand performance — from awareness and perception to earned traffic, engagement, and downstream funnel impact.
Key Responsibilities
Define and lead the Boldin brand
- Own Boldin’s brand strategy, voice, and point of view
- Develop clear, compelling narratives that differentiate Boldin and resonate emotionally
- Ensure consistency and clarity across all channels and touchpoints
- Build a brand that stands for something — not just explains something
Create a movement
- Evangelize the idea that everyone should have a financial plan
- Develop campaigns, ideas, and formats that spark conversation and cultural relevance
- Turn Boldin into a brand people talk about, share, and advocate for
- Identify and amplify moments that can create outsized impact
Own brand distribution systems
- Lead and integrate Video, Social, PR, Classes, and (potentially) Content
- Manage and develop the brand and marketing design function, ensuring Boldin’s visual identity is clear, consistent, and distinctive across all touchpoints
- Ensure each channel reinforces the same core narrative in a native, high-performing way
- Build repeatable systems for creating, testing, and scaling ideas
Drive measurable brand impact
- Own metrics including:
- Brand awareness and perception
- Earned traffic and direct arrivals
- Engagement and share of conversation
- Contribution to funnel conversion and growth
- Establish clear frameworks for measuring brand effectiveness
- Continuously test, learn, and improve
Collaborate across the business
- Partner with Growth to align brand and performance marketing
- Partner closely with Brand/Marketing Design to ensure excellence and consistency in visual storytelling across all channels
- Work with Product to ensure brand promise is reflected in the user experience
- Collaborate with Content, Video, PR, and Social leads to execute at a high level
- Serve as a unifying force across teams and functions
KPIS + Targets
- Significant increase in brand awareness and unaided recognition
- Growth in earned and direct traffic arrivals
- Increased engagement, sharing, and conversation across channels
- Stronger brand-driven conversion (registration, trial, subscription)
- Development of breakout campaigns or content with outsized reach
- Clear improvement in how users understand, trust, and connect with Boldin
Qualifications
You are a builder, storyteller, and strategist — someone who understands how brands become movements.
You likely:
- Have a strong point of view on what makes brands culturally relevant
- Think in narratives, not campaigns
- Understand both emotional resonance and performance metrics
- Have experience turning ideas into distribution and reach
- Are as comfortable with ambiguity as you are with execution
- Care deeply about clarity, trust, and impact — especially in complex domains
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must:
- 8+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or growth leadership roles
- Proven track record of building and scaling a brand with measurable impact
- Experience leading multi-channel brand efforts (video, social, PR, content)
- Strong understanding of how brand drives business outcomes
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills
- Familiarity with personal finance, retirement planning, or willingness to develop deep expertise quickly
- Ability to balance long-term brand building with short-term performance
- Able to communicate top down: take ideas from stakeholders and bring them directly to your team or a specific role with an actionable game plan
Compensation and benefits
- $185,000–$205,000 DOE
- Equity: early-stage options with real upside
- Health, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k) with match
- Flexible PTO / parental leave
- Fully remote (US).
