QA Lead, Customer Experience Platform - Remote Must Be US Based

Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

Who We Are

BOND is a rapidly growing private aviation company revolutionizing fractional aircraft ownership and private aircraft management, delivering an elevated and seamless flying experience for discerning clients. Supported by a landmark Bombardier fleet order, we are building a modern fleet of late-model super-midsize and ultra-long-range aircraft and assembling a team committed to operational excellence, safety, and white-glove service.

As we scale toward launch and long-term growth, we are seeking professionals who want to help build a next-generation aviation company and play a meaningful role in shaping how it operates from the ground up.

Role Overview

BOND is building the future of private aviation. Our Customer Application Platform is where members meet the company: a custom-built app on iOS, Android, and web, an owner web portal, and the messaging and payment flows that surround every trip. When something breaks here, a member feels it on a flight day.

As QA Lead, you own quality for that entire surface. This is a hands-on role with real authority over test strategy. You will build and run the test plans, validate the APIs and integrations that connect our app to flight operations, CRM, and payments, and hold the release bar before anything reaches production.

You are the right fit if you find the edge case nobody designed for, write defect reports engineers can act on without a follow-up, and will say clearly when something is not ready to ship. You work remotely, partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Design, and care about how the product feels to the member, not only whether it matches the spec.

What You'll Do

  • Own test planning and execution for the Customer Application Platform, from requirements and acceptance criteria through release.
  • Test our customer app across iOS, Android, and web, covering functionality, usability, and cross-device and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Validate APIs and integrations with Postman, including flight operations data, Salesforce Service Cloud, Stripe payments, and Twilio and WhatsApp messaging.
  • Serve as the release gate: assess readiness, communicate risk plainly, and lead go/no-go input for changes with flight-day impact.
  • Track defects in JIRA with clear, reproducible detail, and keep test plans and results organized in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Triage production issues, separating real defects from data and configuration problems, and route them to the right owner.
  • Improve our testing process and tooling, including deciding which manual coverage is worth automating first.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a manual QA engineer, with a focus on web and mobile application testing.
  • Strong understanding of API testing methodologies, with hands-on experience using tools like Postman.
  • Proven experience testing consumer-facing applications across iOS, Android, and web, including cross-browser and cross-device coverage.
  • Experience testing third-party integrations and validating data consistency across systems of record.
  • Hands-on experience managing test cases and tracking defects in JIRA.
  • Solid working knowledge of the software development life cycle and Agile delivery practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with rigorous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aviation industry experience, including Part 91 / 91K operations, fractional ownership, or aircraft management.
  • Experience testing payment flows, particularly on Stripe or comparable platforms.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud, Portside, or comparable operational and CRM platforms.
  • Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks, and to integrating test execution into CI/CD workflows.
