Bond Vet is building the next generation of veterinary clinics from the ground up — and we’re looking for an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Design new clinics from pre-design to project completion. 
  • Lead the on-going development of design standards. 
  • Prepare scale drawings or architectural designs, using computer-aided design or other tools. 
  • Develop construction plans, including aesthetic and construction details. Integrate engineering elements into unified architectural designs. 
  • Prepare information regarding design specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, or construction time. 
  • Review and approve consultant drawings from schematic through construction documents. 
  • Ensure clear communication between in-house architectural team and contracted vendors. 
  • Inspect proposed building sites to assess suitability for construction. 
  • Coordinate and oversee vendor installation during construction. Produce photorealistic images of future clinic storefronts using software like AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. Collaborate with the marketing department to create construction-specific marketing collateral and permanent signage. 
  • Collaborate with graphics vendor to create ADA compliant signage and other wayfinding collateral. 
  • Manage permitting of construction and signage with authorities having jurisdiction. 
  • Perform site visit at end of construction in order to prepare punch list for contractor. 
  • Specify and procure furniture, fixtures and equipment.

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s in Architecture or its foreign equivalent 
  • Two years experience as an Architectural Designer or Architectural Design Intern. 
  • Special Skills: Two years experience with each of the following: (1) Adobe Creative Suite; (2) AutoCAD; (3) REVIT; (4) 3D Modeling and Visualization: (5) Architectural Drawing and Drafting; (6) Construction Documentation and Specification Writing.

 

Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000 Per Annum

 

Work Location: 111 West 19th Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10011. *Remote work is permissible up to 3 days per week. Must be located within the NY tristate area.* Incidental domestic travel to work sites up to 15%.
