Join Bond Vet as we expand a growing outpatient specialty surgical team. This unique part OR full-time position offers a number of advantages including a built-in referral network of ~20 clinics in the New York tristate area with more than 60 referring practitioners, flexibility in schedule and case type, and the option to participate in professional development of our veterinarians and development of a multi-surgeon specialty practice network.
With no ER duties, no on-call, a reliable schedule and opportunities to mentor as desired, this is an exciting opportunity for a surgeon looking for excellent quality of life in a growing, culture-forward environment.

Our commitment to excellence has led us to create a unique opportunity for a specialty surgeon who can support our general practitioners in identifying cases in need of specialty surgical treatment and providing care ranging from routine mass removals and elective arthrodesis, to emergency abdominal surgery. Responsibilities
- Managing a specialty surgery caseload: a clinician willing to take on cases from the NY metropolitan area and beyond.
- Ensures the delivery of the highest quality (safe, effective, patient and client centered, timely, efficient and equitable) surgical care
- Crafting your referral base: a clinician willing to openly communicate with our referring clinicians to establish their ideal case type and pre-referral workup.
- Able to identify opportunities for growth: a clinician willing to remain up to date on latest surgical techniques and equipment, and provide leadership with an understanding of whether and how this technology should be incorporated at Bond Vet.
- Acts as a thought partner and contributes to the development of new practice protocols and guidelines and implements them in an efficient and engaging way
- Acts as an ambassador of Bond Vet within the veterinary community and the public at large
- Interest in professional development of our general practitioners: interest/willingness to train our clinicians in basic soft tissue procedures.
Qualifications:Bond Vet’s Ideal Candidate
- Veterinary Medical Degree (DVM/VMD or foreign equivalent)
- Board certification or residency-trained and licensed in good standing or be able to obtain licensure to practice as a veterinary professional in New York State.
- DEA licensure and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certificate if needed for all states for clinics under supervision.
- 3-5+ years of clinical veterinary experience preferred
Salary Range:
$220,000 – $275,000 annually. Exact salary will be dependent on the candidate’s schedule, skills, location and experience level.
