Community Marketing Manager - New York

Boston, MA; DMV Area; New York, NY

Bond Vet is on a mission to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care. We offer primary and urgent care, so we’re there for pets when they need us most. Our clinics are designed with pets and people in mind: warm, friendly, and highly sniffable. We balance this design with a strong focus on technology, all built in-house, which means we can easily innovate our systems to improve the veterinary team, pet, and client experience.

About the Role:
Join our Marketing Team and team Bond Vet in redefining veterinary care with a fresh, modern approach to both urgent and primary care—and we’re looking for a Community & Events Marketing Manager who’s excited to bring big ideas to life.

This is not your typical desk job. It’s a dynamic, entrepreneurial, on-the-go role for someone who thrives out in the community, building connections face-to-face and sparking creative local activations. You’ll be the driving force behind local marketing in your region—visiting Bond Vet clinics, hosting and attending community events, and creating hyper-local partnerships that make our brand come alive.
If you’re energized by rolling up your sleeves, experimenting with new ideas, and seeing the impact of your work in real time, this could be the perfect fit. The role is field-based (60–70% weekly travel), so candidates must live within their assigned region, have access to a car, and be ready to hit the road.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the face of Bond Vet in local markets—visiting clinics weekly and ensuring consistent brand presence and engagement in the community.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with local businesses, pet-friendly apartments, schools, and community groups.
  • Plan and execute grassroots marketing initiatives including community events, pop-ups, adoption events, and open houses.
  • Represent Bond Vet at external events—staffing tables, engaging attendees, and driving foot traffic to nearby clinics.
  • Create social media content from in-market activities and stay on top of local trends and opportunities to engage.
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of promotional materials and retail items across clinics and regional storage units.
  • When applicable, support our clinic launch function with local field marketing efforts, including flyer drops, signage placement, and event support. Track, analyze, and report on outreach and event effectiveness, offering recommendations for improvement.
  • Regularly collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to align clinic needs with field efforts.
  • Lead the logistics and planning for your own event presence and partnerships in target markets.

Partnership Building – 15%

  • Building and nurturing relationships with local businesses, corporate partners, apartments, schools, and community groups.
  • Reaching out to local corporate partners & creators daily to create new relationships & drive awareness.
  • Creating opportunities for collaborations that drive awareness and traffic.

Event Planning – 40%

  • Planning, coordinating, and executing grassroots initiatives (adoption events, pop-ups, open houses).
  • Managing logistics, promotional materials, and local marketing support for clinic launches.
  • Communicating events to the clinic team at the start of every month & ensuring we have clinic members in attendance to support.
  • Reporting and analyzing outreach effectiveness relative to KPIs

Event Attendance – 40%

  • Representing Bond Vet at community events and staffing tables.
  • Setting up & breaking down event tables & structures as needed.
  • Capture emails & hand out promotional materials.
  • Taking real-time social media content from in-market activities.

In-Clinic Immersion– 5%

  • Weekly clinic visits to maintain presence and brand consistency
  • Working with the clinic teams on event ideas, researching suggestions & bubbling it up to support center for budget approval.
  • Bi-monthly (once every other month), stepping in to support the clinic team as a Care Coordinator, staying close to operations and client experience to deeply understand how things work & better drive local success.
  • RDO to schedule in-clinic days every other month, at least 30 days in advanced
