Licensed Journeyman Electrician | Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus | Residential

About the Role

Already licensed and experienced in residential electrical work? Michael Bonsby HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical is looking for Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our growing electrical team serving homeowners throughout Maryland and Northern Virginia. You'll perform residential electrical service, repair, and installation work while working directly with homeowners and a team that values quality workmanship, professionalism, and continued growth.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair residential electrical systems, panels, wiring, and equipment
• Perform residential electrical service, repair, replacement, and installation work
• Install and upgrade outlets, switches, fixtures, panels, and related electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify appropriate repair solutions
• Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable electrical codes
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners about findings and recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• Current Journeyman Electrician license in Maryland or Virginia
• 2+ years of residential electrical experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in residential settings
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• This position requires regular operation of a company vehicle. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and meet all company motor vehicle insurance requirements to be authorized to operate a company vehicle.
