POSITION SUMMARY


Boostlingo is seeking to expand our go-to-market (GTM) team with the addition of a Sales Engineer. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving revenue by providing technical expertise and guidance during the sales process.  Ideal candidates have the ability to combine technical expertise with sales acumen to convey how Boostlingo products or services meet the needs of prospective clients.  You will work closely with Sales and potential customers to understand their needs, demonstrate the value of our solutions, and ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales support. You will also work closely with the Product teams to obtain a deep understanding of our product’s capability that will help bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a consultative solutions-oriented approach to closing deals.  The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for helping customers achieve their goals.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Technical Consultation: Partner with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide expert advice on product capabilities and technical solutions.
  • Product Demonstrations: Lead product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate how our solutions solve customer challenges. Solution Design: Collaborate with customers to identify needs and design solutions, ensuring that our products meet their specific business requirements.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, serving as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Engineering, Product Management, and other internal departments to understand customer requests, resolve critical product issues, develop solutions to minimize cycle time for problem resolution, and make improvements for future release.
  • Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive products, and market demands to effectively position our solutions in the market.
  • Post-Sales Support: Work with implementation and customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation and post-sales support.
  • Training and Development: Develop resources and provide technical training and product knowledge to the sales and other cross-functional teams, ensuring they are equipped to confidently discuss product features.
  • Technical Implementation Support to include;
  • Provide onsite technical support for high-stakes demos, proof of concepts, and complex solution implementations as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients onsite to assess technical requirements, ensure successful product integration, and build trusted relationships.
  • Act as the technical liaison during onsite visits, addressing in-depth technical questions and troubleshooting issues in real-time.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or technical pre-sales role within the SaaS industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrated experience supporting sales cycles, with the ability to influence decision-making processes.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS technologies and cloud-based solutions, systems integration, and software architecture.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

Willingness to travel, as needed, for on-site client meetings, presentations, and company and industry events.

Computer literacy, specifically with:

  • Both Mac and PC environments.
  • Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Sales Enablement Tools including Salesforce and other prospecting, and engagement platforms.
