What You’ll Do: 

As a Business Development Representative, you will drive Boostlingo forward by generating high-quality opportunities for our Account Executive team. Sitting at the top of our sales funnel, you will have the opportunity to create a great first impression for prospective clients and effectively articulate the value proposition of Boostlingo. By using strategic research and our extensive technology suite, you will identify, nurture and qualify potential customers through cold calling, emailing, and other outbound outreach methods in-order to generate well researched, qualified meetings for our Account Executive team.  

You will be a part of a collaborative sales culture dedicated to innovation and the development of its team members, while maintaining a fun and rewarding atmosphere. As a valuable contributor to the BDR team, you will play a key role in the growth of our business.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Actively source and research potential customers using various databases, LinkedIn, and other prospecting tools to build a qualified lead pipeline 
  • Outbound prospecting into target accounts, driving interest, and booking meetings for the AE team to evaluate and close.  
  • Articulate the benefits of the company's products or services, tailoring the message to each prospect's specific needs. 
  • Initiate contact with prospects through cold calls, emails, and social outreach utilizing personalized messaging to introduce the company and its offerings.  
  • Identifying champions and key stakeholders within target accounts to kick off internal sales cycles.  
  • Skillfully listening to prospect needs and concerns to tailor the sales pitch accordingly. Adherence to lead and account qualification guidelines for booking meetings.  
  • Create a lasting and positive first impression of Boostlingo for our prospects. 
  • Become an expert at articulating our value proposition to anyone who asks (or who doesn’t ask). 
  • Partner with our AE team to help generate meetings, build sales pipeline, and drive deals forward.  
  • Utilize our sales tech stack: Outreach, 6sense, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, etc. 
  • Accurately update and maintain Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) system with prospect information, call logs, and activity details.  
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of all Boostlingo’s products. 
  • Meet and exceed all KPIs and monthly sales targets. 

 

What Makes You Perfect for the Role: 

  • A self-starter with a proven track record of high performance. 
  • 0-1 years of sales development, cold calling, or direct consultative sales experience. 
  • Experience working with a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) or sales enablement tool (Salesloft, Outreach, etc.). 
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to translate business ideas into technical solutions and convert interest into meetings.   
  • Experience in outbound sales prospecting with an emphasis on quality over quantity and being able to personalize messaging.  
  • Positive and energetic phone skills with the ability to communicate well and deliver clear messages in a short amount of time. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional, detail oriented, and organized. 
  • Understanding of complex, enterprise sales cycles and solution selling tactics.  
  • Highly effective in a fast-paced environment, strong quantitative and analytical skills, excellent cross functional collaboration with teams. 
  • Team player, coachable, and resilient in the face of objections and rejection. 
  • Innate hunger, self-motivation, and work ethic. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
