ABOUT THE ROLE  

Boostlingo is seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across key verticals. This role will focus on building strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their language access needs, and positioning Boostlingo’s suite of solutions as the ideal partner.  

As a Business Development Manager, you will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, playing a critical role in shaping our go-to-market strategy and contributing directly to Boostlingo's continued growth and success. 

 

 

WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF THIS ROLE: 

 Opportunity Development 

  • Proactively source and identify new business opportunities within target markets, including healthcare, legal, education, government, and corporate sectors. 
  • Qualify inbound leads and manage outbound prospecting campaigns to generate a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities. 
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand client pain points and language access goals. 
     

Client Engagement & Relationship Building 

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. 
  • Deliver tailored presentations, demos, and proposals that highlight Boostlingo’s value proposition. 
  • Represent Boostlingo at industry events, trade shows, and webinars to generate leads and raise brand awareness. 
     

Deal Management 

  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting through negotiation and contract execution. 
  • Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction. 
  • Accurately forecast opportunities and report on sales activity using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). 
     

Market Insights & Strategy 

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in the language services and health equity space. 
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to help shape product development and go-to-market strategies. 
  • Contribute to strategic planning and revenue growth initiatives in partnership with the CRO. 

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • 7-9 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships—preferably in SaaS, B2B tech, or language services.  
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex deals and exceed sales targets.  
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.  
  • Strong organizational skills with a data-driven, consultative approach.  
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach) 

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Experience working with interpretation or translation services platforms. 
  • Existing network within healthcare, education, legal, or government sectors. 
  • Understanding of accessibility, language access, or DEI initiatives.
