ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an AI Search & LLM Optimization Specialist to shape how our brand is discovered in both traditional search engines (SEO) and emerging AI-driven discovery ecosystems

This role sits at the intersection of technical SEO, user experience, and AI innovation. You will own the end-to-end technical SEO execution — from site audits and crawl optimization to Times New Roman Bold Core Web Vitals — while also pioneering Large Language Model (LLM) Optimization. Your mission: to ensure our site is technically flawless, structured for machine readability, and positioned to be cited and surfaced by AI systems like Google SGE, Bing AI, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and beyond.

This is a role for someone who thrives on both detail-oriented technical problem-solving and forward-looking experimentation.

WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF THIS ROLE:

AI-Driven Search & LLM Optimization

  • Research and apply strategies for optimizing visibility within AI-powered search experiences (Google SGE, Bing AI, ChatGPT plugins, Perplexity, etc.).
  • Apply LLM Optimization (Large Language Model Optimization) techniques:
  • Structure content in FAQ/Q&A formats and conversational headings.
  • Enhance semantic SEO through entities, topic clusters, and schema.
  • Ensure site content is machine-readable and consumable by AI systems.
  • Collaborate with the content team to align content with NLP-driven queries and AI-friendly formats.
  • Explore opportunities to expose content to AI assistants through APIs, structured datasets, and plugins.
  • Monitor how LLMs (ChatGPT, Bing AI, etc.) cite and reference our brand, and refine technical approaches accordingly.

Technical SEO Excellence

  • Conduct comprehensive site audits to improve crawlability, indexation, and architecture.
  • Optimize Core Web Vitals, mobile-first performance, and page speed.
  • Implement structured data, schema markup, and rich snippets to maximize visibility.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical SEO issues (redirects, canonicalization, duplicate content, broken links, sitemaps, etc.).

User Experience & Conversion

  • Analyze UX/design to optimize navigation, internal linking, and on-site search.
  • Ensure a seamless user journey that balances SEO, AI search readiness, and conversion goals.
  • Maintain accessibility and UX standards across the site.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Track rankings, traffic, Core Web Vitals, and AI search citations.
  • Report on both traditional SEO metrics and emerging AI-driven search visibility KPIs.
  • Stay on top of industry trends in SEO, AI search, and LLM optimization.

WHAT MAKES YOU PERFECT FOR THIS ROLE:

You are a technical problem-solver and innovator who thrives at the cutting edge of SEO and AI. You don’t just fix site errors — you anticipate how LLMs and AI search are transforming discovery, and you engineer our site to be discoverable, trusted, and cited across both traditional SERPs and AI-generated answers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5+ years of proven experience in technical SEO.
  • Deep expertise in site architecture, structured data, and crawl optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals, mobile-first optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with semantic search, entity-based SEO, and LLM Optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of AI search ecosystems (Google SGE, Bing AI, ChatGPT plugins, Perplexity, etc.).
  • Proficiency with leading SEO tools: Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMRush, Sitebulb, etc.
  • Bonus: experience with AI-enhanced SEO tools (SurferSEO, Clearscope, MarketMuse) and UX/CRO practices.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
