ABOUT THE ROLE  

The Language Access Account Manager role will drive retention and growth among our large vendor customers by understanding the needs of the Boostlingo Hub Language Services Network that serves our client baseThey are responsible for managing key strategic relationships between large language service provider partners that service interpreting and translating assignments for Boostlingo’s client base

The Language Access Account Manager will oversee rate negotiations, vendor partnerships, and agreements, applying AI-enabled analytics and insights to continuously improve quality, maximize gross margins, and build a high-performing, data-driven Boostlingo Hub partner network. They will identify, evaluate, and onboard prospective BHub partners who meet established standards for quality assurance, cost efficiency, and operational capacity.

Collaborating closely with Quality Assurance and Operations teams to assess fit and ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
 They will work closely alongside the Customer Success and Account Management teams to manage and streamline LSP Vendor partnerships and will report to the VP of Language Operations. They will also conduct QBRs with key BHub partners to review performance, strengthen the partnership and align on goals and strategies. 

  

 

WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF THIS ROLE: 

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting vendor and customer relationships while increasing the retention and growth of Boostlingo’s Hub Partners and customers. 
  • Facilitate regular, ongoing meetings with all Boostlingo Hub Partners to enhance partnerships in terms of interpreting and translation quality and gross margin optimization.  
  • Execute negotiation of interpreter rates by employing pricing strategies that meet Boostlingo's standards, policies, and procedures. 
  •  Strategic vendor management including conducting QBRs, reviewing performance, and ensuring alignment on goals and strategies 
  • Work closely with the Director of Quality and Compliance to ensure delivery of Boostlingo Hub Vendor scorecards and action items to improve scores. 
  • Work closely with Director of Language Operations to optimize gross margins based on quarterly KPIs set by the VP of Language Operations,the CEO, and CFO. 
  • Develop strategies to expand engagement and enable adoption of product, training, and capacity management strategies to enhance coverage within our native ecosystem.  
  • Build initiatives with Boostlingo Hub Partners to expand product awareness and identify new opportunities for growth. 
  • Achieve or exceed monthly KPIs and/or targets. 
  • Coordinate with technical support for technically complex questions. 
  • Cross-departmental collaboration with other internal teams as needed.  
  • Monitor customer usage, adoption, and customer health metrics as it relates to Boostlingo Hub partnerships. 
  • Leverage new and existing tools, processes and best practices to ensure Boostlingo Hub Partners are realizing the greatest possible value from Boostlingo. 
  • Negotiate with Boostlingo Hub Partners on opportunities to secure optimal terms.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Strong Language Industry background required 
  • 2-3+ years of Account Management roles within Language Access required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Experience managing enterprise healthcare client accounts

 

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Independent problem-solving skills and adaptivity to change. 
  • Customer-focused mindset; delivering solutions based on customer needs. 
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. 
  • Fluent spoken and written English, other languages is a plus! 
  • Driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic and with a bias for action. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights. 
  • Good communicator with active listening skills, comfortable communicating in high stress environments 
  • Demonstrated fluency in tools like MS Office Suite, JIRA, and Confluence 
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and leading projects to delivery
