About The Role

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of office, retail, and mixed-use properties, ensuring their financial and operational success. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including leasing, accounting, asset management, and ownership, to ensure optimal asset performance. The Property Manager is also tasked with managing service contracts, capital projects, operating and capital budgets, tenant relations, and lease compliance, as well as overseeing accounts receivables for assigned properties.

What You'll Do

  • Service & Contract Management: Tender, negotiate, and manage service contracts and capital projects to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Financial Oversight: Review and approve site financials, including invoices, operating budgets, and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Lease & Tenant Management: Oversee lease administration, ensuring compliance and fostering strong tenant relationships. Address tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Ensure timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable, following up on overdue payments as necessary.
  • Site Visits & Operational Excellence: Regularly visit properties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, identify areas for improvement, and maintain high service standards.
  • Property Acquisition & Disposition: Support acquisitions and dispositions, providing necessary property details and performance metrics.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in property management software and financial reporting tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including tenants, vendors, and internal teams.

 

 

 

Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.

Salary

$76,200 - $104,700 CAD
