Intern, Commercial & Residential Properties (Term: May 2025 to August 2025)

About The Role

Bosa Properties is looking for an Intern, Commercial & Residential Properties to join our team of talented real estate professionals. Reporting to the Manager, Commercial & Residential Properties, you will have a unique opportunity to ­­­­gain insight into the management of an extensive portfolio of retail, industrial, office, and mixed-use urban properties and delve into the multi-family residential world with a focus on leasing operations, customer service, and property management. The Intern will help the Commercial and Residential teams gather, review, and analyze relevant information and data for departmental operations, with a focus on delivering high quality results.

What You'll Do

• Assist in performing asset management functions including performance reporting, hold/sell scenario analysis, and value-add opportunity analysis;
• Support with the drafting and updating of commercial and residential asset plans;
• Assist in reviewing property valuations and portfolio performance;
• Assist in research and financial modeling for BPI’s commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments;
• Participate in commercial and residential site visits;
• Gather insights from weekly and monthly dashboards, and bi-weekly competitor data to help identify market trends;
• Provide ad hoc support to the Commercial Leasing, Property Management, and Residential Asset Management teams.

What You Bring

• Three (3) years of post-secondary education in Real Estate, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field;
• An eagerness to gain practical experience in real estate and apply your analytical skillset;
• Demonstrated ability to communicate intently and work collaboratively, building relationships across the organization;
• Proven ability to successfully coordinate multiple priorities in parallel;
• Strong Excel skills with knowledge of cashflow modeling will be considered an asset;
• Familiarity with a CRM or Power BI will be considered an asset;
• Prior internship experience with a real estate focus will be considered an asset;
• Knowledge of Argus Enterprise will be considered an asset.
