Senior Analyst, Corporate FP&A

About The Role
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Analyst, Corporate FP&A will support our business leaders in complex, long-term decision making as we continue to grow the company. You will assist in providing timely and meaningful financial insights to enable the business to analyze performance and make data-driven decisions.
What You'll Do
Corporate FP&A
- Prepare, review and present quarterly and annual KPI reporting for Corporate and Line of Business functions including valuation, cash flow and NOI.
- Manage the quarterly and annual KPI reporting process, ensuring timelines are achieved and communicated across the various departments and Lines of Business.
- Prepare five-year business plan forecasts, working with business units to analyze and quantify targets and scenarios;
- Collaborate with business units in delivering financial visibility and transparency through scenario analysis;
- Quantify targets and ensure quality of financial data and analyze financial results;
- Maintain governance over assumptions including discount rates, interest rates, inflation rates and cap rates;
- Provide analysis and presentations on new opportunities to support Investment Committee;
- Lead process improvements and continuously enhance analytics in areas including KPI performance, scenario analysis, and governance over assumptions.
- Manage the reporting calendar, ensuring coordination across all deliverables and ensure timelines are achieved;
- Adhoc analysis and reporting.
Technology and Dashboards
- Oversee updates to dashboards through Power BI;
- In collaboration with the business, identify key performance indicators, fostering alignment across teams and providing a reliable snapshot of performance.
- Assist data and analytics to build a centralized management system that integrates data from all relevant applications, ensuring accuracy, consistency and accessibility.
- Work with the business on gap and opportunity identification, solution implementation, and testing and validation.
What You Bring
The ideal Senior Analyst, FP&A is an extremely analytical financial professional with strong business acumen. In order to juggle the speed of the industry and the ever-changing priorities in the business, the ability to absorb information, adapt to change and be flexible will prove to be valuable. Our business leaders will be leaning on the Senior Analyst, FP&A for unique perspectives, best practices and out-of-the-box thinking, while also trusting your detail-oriented, numbers-driven knowledge of finance to communicate sound business advice.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in finance or accounting in an analytical capacity;
- Designated CPA or CFA;
- Advanced working proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and FP&A software applications;
- Ability to work in complex spreadsheets and interpret large volumes of business data;
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation (verbal/written) skills with the ability to communicate professionally to all levels of the business;
- Ability to analyze complex business situations and summarize key issues;
- Experience working in the real estate industry will be considered an asset;
- Experience with Power BI will be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience managing changing priorities efficiently and effectively, managing and meeting deadlines.

Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.
Salary
$99,756 - $137,088 CAD
