Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to specialize in the harness, maintenance, repair, and enhancement of autonomous vehicles. This role is essential for the smooth operation and innovation of our operational fleet.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections and routine maintenance of vehicle systems, including chassis, suspension, brakes, steering, and throttle.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues specific to autonomous vehicles like sensor installation and alignments.
- Perform modification and replacement for aftermarket autonomous vehicles.
- Participate in validation tests after repairing or replacing.
- Documentation of processes, procedures and results.
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicle sensors (Camera / Lidar/ IMU) and their assembling.
- In-house manufacturing and quality assurance experience.
Requirements
- ASE Certification or relevant technical certification in automotive mechanics, with a focus on emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting vehicle systems.
- Capability with understanding CAD drawings and BOMs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in automotive mechanics, with specific skills in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is preferred.

Location: Houston, TX
Hours: 9am - 5pm CST (willing to work flexible hours)
