Role 

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to innovate, win and grow with us in Bangalore 

 Job Summary 

The purpose of this role is to provide expert advice, guidance and administration across the People Success (HR) function, with a specific focus on processing monthly payroll activities. The successful candidate will be accountable for the provision of reliable, accurate and timely data reporting, while building significant process improvements to modernize the function, creating greater efficiency. 

Job Description 

  • Process high volume monthly payroll from start to finish. 
  • Transform the payroll provision through streamlining processes. 
  • Education the business on requirements for timely and consistent submissions 
  • Accountable for providing consistently accurate payroll administration for basic salaries, regular allowances and variable pay. Also, to include commission, overtime, standby and quarterly bonus cycles. 
  • Utilize a strong knowledge of tax legislation to respond to global queries. 
  • Employ a strong working knowledge of legislation and associated reporting requirements for payroll. 
  • Process all pay components including variable pay, leave, sickness absence, tax and National Insurance/ Social Security. 
  • Be accountable for processing benefits including deductions, pension schemes, health care, income protection, life assurance and flexible benefits. 
  • Produce and validate reporting outputs including analytics to share with leadership. 
  • Ensure all data is accurate, reliable and within pre-set deadlines. 
  • Provide accurate data entry, providing recommendations and implementation of action to achieve continuous improvement and efficiencies. 
  • Demonstrate ongoing compliance, keeping up to date with external development including statutory changes. 
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and system updates to ensure we are consistently best in class.  
  • Validation of general payroll administration duties ie filing, completion of forms, Pension, CSA and end of year tax reporting to relevant Tax authorities, meeting deadlines. 
  • Team Player, Self-motivated & Enthusiastic/Driven 
  • Ready to learn new processes and able to implement in a timely manner. 

Required Skills 

  • 3+ years of experience strong knowledge of all payrolls related matters
  • Multinational payroll experience preferred. 
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll systems 
  • A strong knowledge of HR systems, preferably Dayforce. 
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. 
  • Strong experience reconciling and auditing data. 
  • Ability to produce, manipulate and interpret high volumes of complex data. 
  • Strong knowledge of tax and pensions is key to success. 
  • Adherence to GDPR, highly confidential, sensitive with extreme professionalism 
  • Advanced excel skills 
  • An excellent collaborator, building relationships and managing key stakeholders 
  • Reviewing Process SOP's and make sure all SOP's updated and changes are captured 
  • Meticulous attention to details 
  • Strong communication skills
