Job Purpose
The Partnerships and New Business Manager is responsible for leading various partner-facing activities and establishing robust and productive relationships with senior partnership stakeholders. This role encompasses the orchestration and management of communication, documentation, and processes within the Australian Portfolio Management team. In addition to overseeing the development and maintenance of course/program and partnership-level documentation, the Manager establishes frameworks supporting new business proposals, ensuring the quality assurance of bids and submissions.
This role involves comprehensive reporting and alignment of internal services to meet partnership objectives, providing strategic insights into partnership performance. Collaborating seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders, the Manager plays a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and customer experience of existing partnerships. From managing existing partnership obligations to supporting new business opportunities, the Partnerships and New Business Manager significantly contributes to the organisation's growth and success in current and future markets.
Key accountabilities
- Coordinate internal and external performance, and annual reports, along with other required reporting, and manage distribution and version control of critical partnership and new business documentation.
- Provide daily administrative support for the Australian Portfolio Management team, including meeting coordination, document preparation, proofreading, and follow-up on outstanding actions identified in meetings to ensure timely completion.
- Handle internal and external stakeholder interactions while managing partner relationships effectively.
- Support new business initiatives by coordinating, preparing, and reviewing tender submissions and related documentation, including the development of tender response framework.
Additional responsibilities
- Cultivate senior partnership relationships, ensuring effective communication and alignment with objectives.
- Support governance functions across partnerships, through; i. Assisting in documentation and actions for the Joint Alliance Board ii. Becoming a standing member of the Service Management Committee
- Collaborate across internal service areas in a matrix structure, ensuring proactive monitoring of performance throughout teaching periods for the partnership portfolio, with a focus on seeking solutions and escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate across global teams to support new business proposals and managing initiatives to ensure successful execution.
What does Success look like?
- The development of a strong and ongoing relationship with the University of Adelaide to optimise postgraduate portfolio performance.
- Successfully execute approved plans and drive efficiencies and return on investment to enhance the success of the portfolio.
- In consultation with the Partnership Director Australia, implement market expansion plans in line with Boundless Learning's financial thresholds.
- Collaborate across the organise to pursue new business development opportunities.
Essential skills, qualifications, and experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience: Successfully collaborating with partners to drive performance and managing stakeholder relationships across diverse service areas.
- Proficiency: in common technology tools, MS Office suite and reporting skills.
- Organisation and Project Management Skills: Demonstrable ability to handle complex administrative tasks, project management, and multitasking.
- Flexibility: Comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable, and proactive with a can-do attitude.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Outstanding Communication Skills: Including verbal, written, presentations, and active listening.
- Matrix Structure: Experience or knowledge of operating in a matrix structure.
- Educational Qualification: Undergraduate qualification in a relevant field.
