About the Role | Lead Boundless Learnings partnership portfolio performance and growth.

This role has the ultimate responsibility for the short and long-term health of the partnership portfolio.  This involves managing existing portfolio partnerships for optimal business results and expanding the portfolio with existing and new partners.  This role leads both portfolio management and sales teams.  This role coordinates Boundless Learning’s partner activities across functions and is the central conduit for engagement management between Boundless Learning and our portfolio partners. This role oversees all sales efforts and the go-to-market strategy.  The role will report to the CEO and is a key member of the Boundless Learning Executive Leadership team.  The role will have several dotted line coordination requirements for consistent communication and engagement with global marketing, enrollment, student success services, product, finance and legal. This position will be the knowledge expert on all aspects of the partnerships in the portfolio and will be asked to present at business reviews, executive meetings, and team meetings.  It is expected that this person will have consistent interaction and engagement with Boundless Learning partners and the internal Boundless Learning cross-functional team.

 

Position Purpose 

To progress partnerships with well-regarded higher education institutions, corporations, associations and other organizations. To manage/optimize existing agreements for quality, efficacy, improvement in market share, and growth. To develop and secure new partnership opportunities to extend the portfolio.

  2. Meet/exceed partner expectations for Boundless Learning service delivery (service quality, enrollment goals)

Core Tasks  

  1. Lead the creation and development of a clearly defined growth and engagement strategy for portfolio and partners designed to deliver significant and sustainable growth. 
  2. Lead relationship with senior level stakeholders at partners and exert influence in relation to significant long-term strategy and investment decisions. 
  3. Oversee and lead the Portfolio Management and Growth team across all geographies in the delivery of portfolio goals
  4. Lead business development and sales strategy, planning and execution
  5. As core member of Executive Leadership Team provide leadership across the organization and participate in strategy development and core decision making

Key Relationships 

  • Manages a wide range of senior/executive relationships externally with partners. 
  • Partners with colleagues on Executive Leadership Team to provide leadership to team, to set company strategy and to drive decisions
  • Partners with SVP of Acquisition and Retention and the Chief Product and Technology Officer on the delivery of products and services to partners
  • Partners with CFO and CLO to negotiate complex legal and commercial solutions with partners on behalf of Boundless Learning
  • Partners with SVP of Acquisition and Retention, the Chief Product and Technology Officer, CFO and CLO on structuring and negotiating extensions to partnerships and new partnerships.
