Box is looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to support our CPQ and NPI systems. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of changes and solutions released for these critical systems. You will develop and execute comprehensive test plans, oversee UAT test case execution, and document defects using approved standards and tools. Your expertise in creating and maintaining test automation scripts will contribute to the growth of Box's automation library. Additionally, you will identify operational bottlenecks within CPQ and NPI processes, streamline operations, and enhance efficiency. Creating training materials and operating manuals specific to these systems will also be part of your responsibilities. With strong estimation skills, you will ensure thorough testing coverage by estimating effort required for enhancements and projects related to CPQ and NPI. What you'll do:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and NPI (New Product Introduction) systems to ensure high quality of changes and solutions released.

Oversee the review and execution of UAT test cases for CPQ and NPI systems while accurately documenting defects using approved standards, processes, and tools.

Create and maintain test automation and performance scripts with the goal of growing our automation library.

Identify operational bottlenecks and areas of improvement within CPQ and NPI processes, working towards streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency.

Create and maintain training materials and operating manuals that support QA standards specific to CPQ and NPI systems.

Estimate the level of effort required for testing enhancements and projects related to CPQ and NPI, ensuring thorough testing coverage.

Provide regular reports on the quality of products, software development lifecycle processes, as well as recommendations to delivery teams regarding the risk associated with promoting solutions for production use in relation to CPQ and NPI systems.
Who you are:

Strong educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

5+ years of experience in Salesforce and CPQ testing, functional testing, and automation testing

Proficiency in writing test cases and test plans for functional, automation, and regression testing

Experience with tools such as Jira, X-ray (for writing test cases), Tosca for automation, P1 CPQ, P2 Salesforce, Apttus CPQ, and NPI

Demonstrated expertise in quality defect tracking, auditing, and testing processes

Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form

Ability to work in matrixed team environment while maintaining organization and accurate tracking of deliverables
Percentage of Time Spent:

25% partnering with stakeholders to understand use cases and developing quality/acceptance criteria for new opportunities/enhancements/issues/bugs

50% leveraging your technical knowledge to ensure quality is woven through the delivery of all our solutions

Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
