Software Engineer II, Partner Integrations

The Partner Integrations team is responsible for developing new apps, product integrations, and frameworks to support our growing list of strategic partners and inspire the broader ecosystem of developers. Our goal is to build a powerful best-of-breed cloud stack with a single content layer. That way, our customers can connect the content flow across their favorite business apps. We are a fast-paced and high impact team that is helping Box and our partners build world-class enterprise solutions that will both delight and empower our customers.

As a Software Engineer on Partner Integrations team, you will play a pivotal role building integrations with our enterprise partners, who are some of the biggest tech companies in the world. If this sounds like an exciting challenge to you, come join us!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- You will collaborate with the Product Managers to understand and execute on the strategic roadmap for Partner Integrations, Technical foundation and Quality improvement projects.
- You will design, develop, and maintain new product features that enhance existing experiences and create new ones, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- You will partner with cross-functional teams, including Design, UX, Developer Relations and Support, to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- You will contribute to the ideation, prototyping, and execution of new features, taking them from concept to launch.
- You will work collaboratively with other engineers, team members, across teams, and with partner organizations
- You will attend team, project, and manager 1:1 meetings weekly and respond to technical and behavioral feedback from manager and peers
- You will attend and engage in stand ups and maintain sprint task statuses in issue tracking tool daily
- You will develop and foster Box’s culture in the office
- You will have a strong technical voice on our team and will uphold high code standards.
- You will own complex projects with both internal and external dependencies, which will give you influence across multiple teams at Box and with our customers/partners.
WHO YOU ARE
Required skills
- You have a passion for making software more useful through product integrations that make remote work easier and more efficient.
- You have developed against a broad set of APIs and can provide meaningful feedback on API designs.
- You have a solid understanding of the full web technology stack.
- You have a Bachelor's/Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field of study.
- You have 2+ years of professional software development experience in Java, PHP, C#, React, Node.js, Python or Ruby
- You have experience with cloud-based services, preferably with an understanding of security, scalability, and reliability considerations.
- You have ability to collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to align technical efforts with product vision.
- You have excellent problem-solving skills, with a passion for creating developer-friendly products.
Preferred Skills
- You have developed an app using the Box APIs
- You have experience building scalable, highly-available service oriented architectures.
- You have experience in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment.
- You have led or contributed to open source projects.
- You contribute to developer communities such as Stack Overflow or GitHub.

United States Pay Range
$125,500 - $157,000 USD
