The Governance Engineering team is responsible for developing new features to enable customers to manage high-value content in Box with automated content lifecycle tools that reduce compliance, privacy, and litigation risk. Our goal is to build a powerful best-of-breed cloud stack with a single content management layer. That way, our customers can connect the content flow across their favorite business apps. We are a fast-paced and high impact team that is helping Box and our customers build world-class enterprise compliance solutions. - You have 3+ years of professional software development experience
- You have experience with TypeScript, JavaScript and React
- You have experience with Node.js
- You have experience working with legacy codebases
- You speak English proficiently
- You are oriented for solving problems regardless of technology - small modifications of Java or PHP will happen time to time
- Participate in our on-call rotation, available at all times while on-call to help respond to and triage any issues that arise.

Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
