WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
As a Public Sector Mid-Market Account Executive, you will drive Box’s growth within local government Justice & Public Safety (JPS) agencies across the Western United States. We are seeking a motivated territory owner with a greenfield mindset, someone who enjoys identifying new opportunities, traveling to meet agencies, and building a book of business from the ground up. You won't just manage a territory; you will own it. You will be responsible for finding new customers and communicating how Box can improve content management and collaboration for agencies managing growing volumes of unstructured content.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Source and close net-new logos within the local government segment across your assigned Western territory.

Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven territory plan that prioritizes high-growth opportunities.

Actively prospect and engage for new business through discovery calls, demos, and consistent outreach.

Research and understand the business and operational challenges of local government agencies to position Box’s value effectively.

Travel up to 50% to meet customers face-to-face, attend industry events, and strengthen regional presence.

Navigate and influence complex government buying processes and stakeholder groups.

Partner with internal teams to advance deals and ensure long-term customer success.

Build and manage go-to-market partnerships with industry solutions and platform technologies, leveraging Box’s integration capabilities.
WHO YOU ARE

4+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in ECM, AI, SaaS, or cloud sales.

Preferred Public sector knowledge; experience selling into state and local government.

Preferred experience selling to Justice or Public Safety Accounts (courts, law enforcement, prosecution, etc)

Experience using MEDDPICC (or similar qualification frameworks) to support forecast accuracy and deal progression.

Demonstrated success uncovering greenfield opportunities and closing deals using repeatable processes.

Comfortable building relationships and presenting to senior government leaders and cross-functional stakeholder groups.

$204,500 - $255,500 USD
