Primary Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition team collaborates with hiring teams to ensure the company is recruiting and hiring top talent to join the organization and represent our brand to clients, residents, and prospective residents and employees. Identifying, recruiting and hiring the right people for the right positions is critical to the success of our business. Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Contract Recruiter will be responsible for supporting Bozzuto’s high-volume recruiting demands across multiple locations, the majority of which are in the concierge, leasing, and maintenance functions. In this role, the recruiter may support other recruiting professionals on the team and have a wide range of job duties based on the evolving hiring needs of the business.
This will be a hybrid role with a typical work schedule of three days remote (Mon, Thurs, Fri) and two days in-person (Tues, Wed at our Greenbelt, MD corporate office).
In this position, responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrating a variety of direct sourcing techniques to identify passive candidates to fill positions based at the properties managed by Bozzuto.
- Reviewing applications in requisitions and prioritizing the most qualified for additional consideration in the recruitment process.
- Pre-qualifying candidates via review of pre-recorded video interviews and live interviews.
- Performing reference checks and employment verifications, as needed.
- Leading or supporting preparation for hiring events to ensure a full schedule of interviews with pre-qualified candidates.
- Managing the candidate journey through various stages in the applicant tracking system.
- As needed, managing the full lifecycle recruitment process, including but not limited to creating job postings, sourcing, screening, reference checking, presenting and negotiating job offers, and managing applicant tracking.
- Maintaining compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring the system accurately and completely reflects each candidate’s journey through the recruiting process.
- Demonstrating a consistent level of quality in the due diligence of qualifying a candidate for hire via candidate screening, interview feedback, pre-hire checks, and candidate engagement.
- Adhering to all Bozzuto hiring processes as well as procedures that ensure Bozzuto remains in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Delivering a best-in-class candidate experience from the first interaction to the last.
- Supporting various aspects of the recruiting process, including the full end-to-end cycle, specific recruiting stages, or hiring events.
- Contributing to TA-related projects and initiatives, as needed.
What You Bring to Us:
- B.A./B.S. degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recruiting experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources or operations leadership roles required.
- Mix of agency and corporate recruiting experience a plus.
- Proven success managing full lifecycle recruitment efforts for multiple hiring managers in a diverse geographic area.
- Track record of high-volume staffing of entry-level and experienced professional hires; accustomed to managing the full lifecycle recruiting process.
- Proven ability to proactively work with hiring managers to understand needs and deliver timely results.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system as well as LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social recruiting platforms.
- Proven experience utilizing proactive direct sourcing techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, e.g., candidates, residents, customers, clients.
- Skilled at managing multiple demands and effectively prioritizing the workload to deliver results.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
This is a contract position with a duration of up to 6 months. As a temporary role, it is not eligible for full-time employee benefits.
Salary Range
$36 - $43 USD
