Financial and Business Analyst – Revenue Operations (Invoice and PO processing) & Financial Operations
In This Role
As a Financial and Business Analyst supporting a dynamic franchise within the gaming industry, you will play a critical role in reconciling financial data, managing royalty payments, and supporting key revenue reporting processes. This role bridges finance, operations, and analytics, ensuring data integrity, enabling accurate royalty payouts, and informing strategic decision-making across console, mobile, PC, and emerging platforms. Your contributions will directly impact internal stakeholders and external partners in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile revenue statements from multiple platforms including console, mobile, and PC, integrating both financial and user engagement data.
- Manage monthly close activities including journal entries, accruals, and variance reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Track, validate, and process royalty statements and payments across a diverse set of partners.
- Maintain and update Excel-based databases for revenue tracking and royalty monitoring.
- Collaborate with Business Analytics and Business Management teams to flag data trends and discrepancies.
- Support the full invoice and purchase order (PO) process in coordination with global finance teams.
- Create, maintain, and improve documentation for existing and new financial and operational processes.
- Monitor platform partner statement status via the Royalty Workbook and partner closely with global teams for approvals and entries.
Basic Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in business operations, financial analysis, or accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong experience in:
- Excel (3–5 years) — including working with large datasets and building financial models or databases.
- Royalty tracking and reporting (2–4 years).
- Invoice and PO processing (2–4 years) from end to end.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Word.
- Deep understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the gaming, entertainment, or media industries, especially with multi-platform product lines.
- Passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming platforms and digital sales ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to identify business anomalies and proactively drive resolutions.
- Track record of working with international teams and managing cross-functional finance workflows.
Performance Indicators
- Accuracy and quality of financial deliverables.
- Timeliness in meeting month-end and quarter-end close activities.
- Effectiveness in reconciling complex data sources and highlighting insights.
- Collaboration and communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state $29.33/hr. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
